Dota 2 This Ass Is Looking as His Little Notes Again
7.24 Patch
Notes Released
Patch Notes released:
http://www.dota2.com/patches/7.24
Largest changes :
- Heroes now take a defended Neutral Item slot, can now only equip one neutral detail at a time.
- GPM talents removed
I'k sure there are more but we haven't read through the notes notwithstanding either!

Can't wait to see Snapfire brand her debut on the pro-scene. The removal of the GPM-talents make the life every bit a back up harder again.

Lions inverse from 150 gpm to 60 mana bleed lol. That'south a big nerf tbh, quite unfortunate. At to the lowest degree make the replacement somewhat decent..
Buyback cost increased from 100 + NW/13 to 200 + NW/12
These are pretty big. Also not having a shrine to regen on at all volition increment regen item spam I estimate.
Lol the Essence Ring nerf for IO/Necrophos.
No longer kills wards (aforementioned for Fe Talon and Battle Fury) combined with increased ward attack range makes supports stronger. A costless slot + neutral slot.
Vendetta bonus impairment inverse from physical to pure harm, pretty huge buff.
Flesh Golem now grants +xxx Movement Speed, interesting vitrify. Makes the hero mobile.
Neutral slots is a big nerf for sups, which I too welcome. Felt at times similar the game was played by 5 cores on each side.
I don't like the removal of the QB->ward interaction though. I guess it was condign pretty mandatory.
Overall I expected the meta picks to become nerfed mode harder, simply with all the changes these heroes might be much worse again. That beingness said I wish Treant would have gotten a harder nerf, the hero feels overtuned and is really not fun to play against correct now.
Kinda pitiful about the no wards/items with couriers. I'd apply my courier to ward but was likewise dumb to get a QB on information technology and deward also, only I was looking forward to when courier employ 'became meta' and run into some teams trying out some janky ass shit like necronomicouriers or dagon air support. I wanted to see it matter in a game before information technology went the fashion of the fountain hook, it feels like missing that opportunity is a loss.
Also pugna getting +viii agi every bit a buff lol information technology is kinda funny
I am on the positive side of wards no longer be able to QB'd or tangoed. That means heroes actually take to risk their cervix now just to kill enemy vision which means more room for outplay. Likewise this makes playing as and confronting invis heroes more complicated.
the bounties being where they were didn't really add annihilation, in practise it was mostly incommunicable to do something for both
single neutral detail per hero should solve almost all the bug with them
hopefully dire having a unique advantage around Roshan--if they tin can hold their outpost--volition fifty-fifty out the winrates in pubs some, every bit in seven.23 every hero was still worse on dire
Aye it still says "dota 2" when it starts upwards, but to me it feels like it has moved far abroad from information technology - way beyond any meta changes.
Goodbye old friend :'(

Farewell old friend :'(
seven.23 was a massive change. seven.24 made it feel like Dota again. Yet big twists to it but non some other game.
Certain it's no longer the absolutely broken fuckest it was on release of jungle items (now they get a defended slot and merely 1 can be equipped) but GPM talent made playing support tolerable for me =/ because I could afford the eul'due south, the force staff and the ghost scepter near every game and I'd have some degree of survivability which translated to Not being the 1st dead in a teamfight and non being an instant spectator of every game every fourth dimension a fight broke out.
I haven't touched this game since December, although I do still scout it. I just lost all motivation to play because the removal of GPM talents made this game such a chore everytime, instead of something fun to practice.
